19/20 Season Update

Friends of the TJO,

COVID-19 has affected nearly everything and the Toledo Jazz Orchestra is no exception. The good news is that science appears to be gaining momentum and many people are acting responsibly.

As you know, our 40th Anniversary TJO concert scheduled for April was cancelled and we are also forced to postpone our final two Black & White Transportation Bistro Series performances. The good news is that all three performances will happen in the 2020-2021 season. The Three Divas will appear in October and the Faux Frenchmen will perform in June 2021. The series will once again be held at Brandywine Country Club.

Three-time Grammy Award nominee Tim Hagans will take the reigns as the Artistic Director of the Toledo Jazz Orchestra beginning with the annual holiday concert in December. Tim has some exciting ideas and still plans a 40th Anniversary Concert.

We plan on announcing our full schedule of events in June so please stay tuned.

Until then, stay safe.
